To be honest, watching the coach do a few power cleans, I'm not sure if the coach really knew the movements. It was more of "here's the workout! 3-2-1 go!" Although I knew how to do the movements, it was apparent that a good chunk of the class did not, so I was surprised to see the coach NOT go over the movements. Being a CF-L1 Trainer myself, I was expecting the coach to go over movements, form, etc. However, if you're going to advertise CrossFit as one of the classes offered, I would expect the CrossFit Coach to be one that's well versed in CrossFit.ĭon't get me wrong, the class was decent, but throwing an EMOM and an AMRAP up on the whiteboard doesn't automatically make it CrossFit. Saigon Sports Club is definitely not short of amazing when it comes to cleanliness, beautiful locker rooms, good equipment, and most especially awesome people.
